Vincent Thomas is an African-American painter, organizer, and activist born in Waco, Texas. He specializes in acrylic and oil-based portraits, emphasizing cultural storytelling, historical perseverance, and community representation. His work is showcased and featured in TFNB Your Bank For Life, Waco Tribune-Herald, and Magnolia Networks’ Public Artist, including streaming platforms HBO MAX, Apple TV, and Discovery+. Thomas co-founded the nonprofit Blaccent, where he received the Cen-Tex African-American Chamber of Commerce’s Rising Star award for his social and community efforts. Hermés designer Kermit Oliver mentors him while he continues his public works in Central Texas.
